Health Connect is a new service developed by Google that acts as a central hub for health data from various platforms, including the Strove App. In May 2024, Google unveiled that it was phasing out its Google Fit API in favor of Health Connect.
Health Connect has now replaced Google Fit as the main partner for several Android-based health applications and would be the main way Strove would access data from your applications such as Google Fit or Samsung Health. It is notable in that it is not technically an app but an SDK (Software Development Kit) and thus must be accessed via the Android device's Settings to adjust its settings.
Health Connect can be accessed via your Strove app by going to Settings> Connected Apps which will allow you to link and unlink it from other apps and adjust its settings.
