Using Talk & Pathways on Strove

To help you understand how Talk and Pathways work, how to book wellbeing sessions, how credits are managed, and what to do when something goes wrong.

What Are Talk & Pathways?

Talk gives you access to qualified wellbeing professionals who support your mental, emotional, and physical health through one-on-one virtual consultations.

Pathways provides guided, structured programmes designed to help you work through common challenges like burnout, stress, sleep issues, nutrition habits, anxiety, and more. All at your own pace.

Together, these features replace Integrated Care and offer a more flexible, personalised way to improve your wellbeing.

What Services Are Offered Through Talk?

Depending on your organisation’s setup, you can book sessions with a variety of registered professionals, including:

  • Registered Counsellors

  • Clinical or Counselling Psychologists

  • Certified Life Coaches

  • Registered Dietitians

Professionals may differ across regions, but all providers in Talk are vetted and verified by our Clinical Team.

How Credits Work in Talk

Credits are required to book Talk sessions. Your organisation decides how credits are allocated, how often they renew, and whether you may pay individually for sessions.

Viewing Your Credits

You can check your current credit balance at any time:

  • Open the Talk tab

  • Your remaining credits will appear at the top of the screen

How Credits Are Used

  • Each booked session deducts one credit, unless specified otherwise

  • Credits can be used for any Talk provider your organisation has enabled

When You Run Out of Credits

This depends on your organisation’s setup:

  • Most organisations: credits are assigned and managed by the organisation admin

  • Some organisations: users may be able to pay individually for additional sessions

Because credit allocation varies, the below queries should be directed to your organisation’s admin, not Strove Support:

  • missing credits

  • needing more credits

  • credit top-ups

  • allocation rules

Strove Support cannot assign Talk credits.

What Support Can Strove Provide?

The Strove Support & Clinical Team can assist with:

  • provider no-shows

  • last-minute cancellations

  • booking errors

  • issues with joining a virtual session

  • technical problems with the Talk feature

  • inappropriate provider behaviour or safety concerns

Support cannot help with:

  • credit allocation

  • credit limits

  • billing setup

  • organisation rules around Talk.

Booking a Talk Session

Booking is simple and takes less than a minute.

  1. Open the Talk tab in the app by selecting “+” and select “Book a Session”

  2. Use the search bar or filters to find a provider by need (e.g., stress, trauma, sleep, burnout, nutrition).

  3. Review provider profiles and choose the one that suits you.

  4. Select an available date and time.

  5. Confirm your booking. The credit is deducted only after confirmation.

You’ll receive booking reminders and can join the session directly from the Talk tab.

Editing or Cancelling a Booking

You can change or cancel your upcoming session as long as you’re within the allowed window.

  1. Go to Home → Upcoming Session

  2. Tap Edit to adjust the date or time

  3. Tap Cancel to remove the booking

Cancellation Rules

  • Cancelling more than 24 hours before the session restores your credit

  • Cancelling within 24 hours or not attending results in the credit being deducted

If you believe a cancellation should be reviewed (e.g., emergency circumstances), contact Support so the Clinical Team can assist.

No-Show Rules

If You Missed a Session

Credits are non-refundable unless the cancellation window was followed. This is managed by your organisation’s credit policy, not Strove Support.

If Your Provider Missed the Session

If the professional does not join:

  • Contact Support via the in-app Support section

  • Share the session date and time

  • After verification, your credit will be reinstated

  • You may then rebook with the same provider or another one

What Are Pathways?

Pathways are structured, guided programmes created by qualified mental-health and lifestyle experts.

They help you build healthier habits across themes like:

  • Stress awareness and burnout prevention

  • Sleep improvement

  • Nutrition fundamentals

  • Anxiety regulation

  • Resilience and coping techniques

Pathways are self-paced and require no credits, meaning they’re available to all users whose organisation has enabled them.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your wellbeing journey is private.

  • Your organisation cannot see your session notes, Insight results, or your individual bookings

  • Providers follow strict professional confidentiality standards

  • Only aggregated, anonymous usage data is shared with organisations

Your personal wellbeing data never appears on leaderboards, reports, or admin dashboards.
