Requirements
The Strove app is installed and logged in on your phone
The health app you want to connect (e.g. Google Fit, Apple Health, Zepp) is installed
A stable internet connection
All necessary permissions for data sharing are enabled
Steps to ensure successful sync
Check Integration and permissions
Go to Settings > Connect Apps in Strove and make sure your health app is connected (green).
Open your health app and verify that data sharing permissions with Strove are enabled.
Remember: Strove cannot access data from periods when permissions were disabled, even if reactivated later.
Verify activity details
Confirm that the activity appears correctly in your health app.
Avoid manually editing activities as altered entries won’t sync to Strove.
Check for Third-Party intermediaries
If using an app chain (e.g. Huawei Health → Strava → Strove), make sure the activity shows in the final app connected directly to Strove.
Confirm activity timing
Strove only processes activities recorded within the last 7 days.
Ensure network stability
Poor or unstable internet connections may interrupt syncing.
Watch for System Delays
Delays may occur due to maintenance or third-party app sync queues. Most resolve within 24 hours.
Check the correct tab
For step counts, look under the Steps tab rather than Activity. Some metrics sync separately (e.g., steps vs. calories).
Data retention when reconnecting apps
If you disconnect and then reconnect your health app, all previously synced data remains in Strove. No data is lost when you relink, though older app versions or outdated firmware might limit what can re-sync.

Preventative tips
