Overview of compatibility
Strove can track your activity data through connected apps that share verified fitness information. However, not all smartwatches and fitness trackers connect to Strove directly. Instead, they do so via Health Connect or Apple Health, which acts as a bridge between your device’s health app and Strove.
If your device’s app (for example, Mi Fitness or Zepp) can link to Health Connect/Apple Health, your activity data can sync into Strove.
How compatibility works
Direct connections: Strove currently supports limited direct integrations. Most data reaches Strove through Health Connect.
Indirect connections: If your wearable shares activity data to Health Connect through its companion app, Strove can read that data and award you points.
For example:
Redmi and Mi Fitness devices: Connect to the Mi Fitness app → enable sharing with Health Connect → link Health Connect to Strove.
Incompatible devices
Some devices do not allow third-party data sharing through Health Connect/Apple Health. These will not work with Strove.
For example:
Y13, Hryfine and other lower-cost generic models typically cannot share verified fitness data through Health Connect, making them incompatible.
Quick compatibility checklist
To find out if your smartwatch or tracker is compatible with Strove:
Check whether your device’s app (e.g., Mi Fitness, Zepp, Strava) supports Health Connect/Apple Health integration.
Ensure your device can sync activity data such as steps, heart rate, or workouts to that app.
Connect Health Connect/Apple Health to Strove in your Strove app under Settings > Connected Apps.
If all these criteria are met, your activities should sync successfully into Strove.
Preventative tips
Keep both Strove and Health Connect updated.
Verify that permissions are always granted for data sharing.
Regularly check the Connected Apps section in Strove to ensure Health Connect remains active.
