How to Earn Strove Coins

To explain how you earn Strove Coins through physical and wellness activities recorded by your connected apps and devices.

Overview

You earn Strove Coins whenever you complete and record an eligible activity through a connected fitness app or wearable device. Strove analyses your workout duration, intensity, and data type (e.g. heart rate or GPS) to calculate your earned Coins.

The harder or longer you work, the more you earn, which is our way of rewarding consistent effort and active living.

How to Start Earning

  1. Connect your fitness app or device

    • Open Strove → Settings → Connected Apps

    • Link at least one partner app (e.g. Strava, Fitbit, Garmin, Health Connect, or Apple Health)

    • Note: Steps are not synced from Strava.

  2. Complete an eligible activity

    • Strove automatically receives data once your connected app syncs.

    • No manual uploads are required.

  3. Earn Coins based on your activity

    • Your Coins are calculated using one of two methods:

      • Activities recorded with heart rate data

      • Activities recorded without heart rate data

1 point per minute (up to 60 minutes)

10 points per 10 minutes (up to 30 points)

Mindful Minutes

1 point per minute (up to 15 minutes)

In-App Yoga Videos

10 points for 10 minutes or longer

In-App Workout Videos

15 points for 10 minutes or longer

How Syncing Works

After your workout:

  • Your connected app (e.g. Fitbit, Garmin, or Strava) uploads the data to its platform.

  • Strove automatically retrieves the session within minutes.

  • Your Coins appear in your account once the activity is processed.

If your activity doesn’t appear after a few hours, check your Connected Apps permissions and ensure syncing is enabled.

Tips for Maximising Your Coins

  • Wear a device that tracks heart rate to unlock higher-intensity rewards.

  • Make sure your workout duration is fully captured — cutting a session short reduces your points.

Keep your apps connected and permissions active for seamless syncing.
