How to record activities that can earn points

Record activities in Strove or a connected app and understand what they need to earn points.

Record your activity using Strove’s tracker or a supported fitness app or wearable. Once it syncs, Strove uses the recorded information to calculate any eligible points.

Recording a walk or run in Strove

  1. Open Record activity in Strove.

  2. Choose your activity and allow location access for GPS tracking.

  3. Start recording when you begin.

  4. Finish and save the activity when you’re done.

Allow the activity to finish syncing before checking your points.

Recording with another app or wearable

Connect your tracking app or device to Strove, then record and save your session as usual.

Depending on the activity, Strove uses information such as duration, distance and heart rate to calculate points.

What about activities typed in afterwards?

Typing an activity’s details into an app afterwards is different from recording it while you exercise.

Manually entered Strava activities do not sync to Strove or earn points. Use Strava’s recording feature or a connected wearable instead.

Do I need heart-rate data?

Not always. Some supported activities can earn points using distance or duration.

The requirements depend on the activity. Adding an activity type and duration alone does not guarantee points.

My activity hasn’t earned points

Check that it has synced to Strove and contains the required information.

If it earned points but no Coins, you may have reached the 200-Coin weekly limit. See How to earn Strove Coins.

If something still looks wrong, contact Strove Support with the activity date, type and tracking app or device.
