Overview

You don’t need a smartwatch or fitness tracker to record your workouts; you can log activities directly in the Strava app on your phone. Once recorded, your activity data will automatically sync to Strove if your Strava account is linked in the Connected Apps section of Strove.

Steps to Record an Activity

  1. Open the Strava app on your mobile device.

  2. Tap Record on the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Wait until Strava confirms your GPS location has been acquired.

    • This ensures accurate tracking of your route, distance, and pace.

  4. Tap Change Workout to select the activity type (e.g., Run, Walk, Ride, Hike).

  5. Once selected, tap Start to begin your workout.

  6. When you’ve finished, tap Pause, then Finish to save your activity.

Your completed activity will appear in Strava and automatically sync to Strove shortly after upload.

Tips for Accurate Recording

  • Make sure your phone’s location (GPS) permissions are enabled for Strava.

  • Ensure your internet connection is active when completing and saving an activity.

  • Only activities recorded using Strava’s built-in recording function will sync; manually added or imported workouts will not.
