Overview
Strove doesn’t connect directly to the Honor Health app. However, you can sync your data by linking Honor Health to Health Connect, which acts as a bridge between your health apps and Strove.
Once connected, your activity data will automatically flow from Honor Health → Health Connect → Strove.
Note: The Honor Health app is available only on Android devices.
For Android Users (via Health Connect)
Requirements
Before connecting, make sure you have:
Honor Health app installed and updated
A valid Honor account (you must be signed in before linking to Health Connect)
Health Connect is installed and updated
Strove app installed and logged in
A stable internet connection
Steps to Connect
Sign in to Honor Health
Open the Honor Health app.
Complete registration or sign in with your Honor account (this step is required to enable Health Connect linking).
Ensure your smartwatch or fitness tracker is paired and syncing with Honor Health.
Enable Data Sharing with Health Connect
In Honor Health, open Settings.
Tap Health Connect (or Data Sharing).
Toggle Sync with Health Connect to On.
When prompted, tap Turn On and Allow All permissions for data types like steps, workouts, and heart rate.
Connect Health Connect to Strove
Open the Strove app → Settings → Connected Apps.
Tap Health Connect → Connect.
Grant all permissions by selecting Allow All when prompted.
Verify the Sync
Open Health Connect and confirm your Honor Health data (steps, workouts, heart rate) appears there.
Return to Strove, refresh the home screen by swiping down, and check that your activity data appears.
Troubleshooting Summary
If your Honor Health data isn’t showing in Strove:
Confirm that you’re signed in to your Honor account in the Honor Health app.
Check that Health Connect is receiving your data from Honor Health.
Ensure Strove has permission to read data from Health Connect.
Refresh Strove and Health Connect; syncing can take several minutes.
If issues persist, toggle the Health Connect link off and back on.
Preventative Tips
Stay signed in to your Honor Health account as logging out may pause syncing.
Keep Honor Health, Health Connect, and Strove updated to their latest versions.
Maintain a stable internet connection while syncing data.
Avoid force-closing apps right after workouts; allow background syncing to complete.
Periodically open Health Connect to confirm data flow between apps remains active.
