How Strove handles your data
Your wellbeing data is private, confidential, and belongs to you. Strove does not share your personal activity information with:
Your organisation
Any Strove admin
Your colleagues
Any external stakeholder
Your individual activity history, Insight scores, mindful minutes, health data, and connected-app information remain strictly personal.
Strove uses your data only to:
Display your own activity and progress
Calculate your Strove Coins
Populate features you've explicitly opted into (e.g., Leaderboards)
We never sell, trade, or distribute your identifiable data.
When can others see your data?
This only happens in one scenario:
Leaderboard Visibility
If you choose to enable leaderboard visibility:
Other members in your organisation can see only the total for the metric being measured (e.g., steps, points, distance)
They cannot see your activity details, heart rate, routes, workout types, streaks, Insight results, or health information
If you disable leaderboard visibility:
You disappear from all leaderboards
No one, including your organisation admins, can see any of your metrics
Your Strove Coins, Rewards, Insight results, and activity feed remain private
Turning off leaderboard visibility doesn't affect your ability to track activity, earn Strove Coins, or access any other app features — your data continues to be recorded privately in your account, and you can re-enable visibility at any time.
How to Control Your Privacy Settings
To adjust your leaderboard visibility:
Open the Strove app.
Tap the Settings icon at the top right of your dashboard.
Select Privacy Settings.
Toggle your Leaderboard Visibility to your preferred setting:
On (Green) → You will appear on leaderboards and in public challenges.
Off (Red) → You will not appear on leaderboards or in any challenge rankings.
Your choice takes effect immediately.

What Strove Admins Can See
Organisation-facing dashboards show only aggregated, anonymous insights, such as:
Overall activity levels
Participation rates
Anonymous wellbeing trends
They cannot see:
Individual activity
Individual Insight scores
Individual mindful minutes
Streaks
Workout history
GPS routes
Heart rate data
Steps
Any personal identifiers linked to health metrics
