Explaining on how to track your steps through the Strove App

Updated over a week ago

You might notice that, once you have connected your Huawei device to Strava, your steps taken aren't pulling through. The reason you are unable to see any steps is because Strava does not track steps and that means no information will be sent to Strove.

The best option in this situation would be to link your Huawei Health app to your Google Fit or Apple Health. In this case, we suggest downloading a third party app such as Health Sync or Movespring to help with linking your Huawei Health App. This is due to the way Android/Apple softwares are built which is incompatible with Huawei Health.

You read more about it here for Android/Huawei Mobile Devices and here for Apple Mobile Devices.

While it does require a little bit of extra work with the addition of another app to connect your Huawei Health to a third party app (and thus, your Strove App) it will ensure you won't lose out on any points and rewards from all the activities you do and will import your steps.
