Overview
The easiest way to link your Galaxy Watch with Strove is through Samsung Health. Your activity data flows through the following connection path:
Galaxy Watch → Samsung Health → Health Connect → Strove
Most Galaxy Watch models connect directly to Samsung Health, but some require setup through the Galaxy Wearable app first.
Step 1: Set up your Galaxy Watch with Samsung Health
Option A: Directly via Samsung Health
If your watch prompts you to connect to Samsung Health during setup, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Option B: Via Galaxy Wearable App
If your watch does not connect automatically, use the Galaxy Wearable app:
Open the Google Play Store and search for Galaxy Wearable.
Download and install the app.
Once installed, open it and tap Start.
Select your Galaxy Watch and follow the on-screen prompts to complete pairing.
After setup, open the Menu (☰) in the Galaxy Wearable app.
Tap + Add new device, then select your watch to ensure it’s linked.
Open Samsung Health, sign in to or create a Samsung Cloud account, and verify that sync is enabled.
Once your watch and Samsung Health are connected, your Galaxy Watch will automatically record and upload activity data to Samsung Health.
Step 2: Link Samsung Health to Strove
Open the Strove app.
Tap the Settings icon (top right).
Select Connected Apps.
Tap Connect to Samsung Health.
When prompted, tap Link and toggle Allow All to grant Strove access to your Samsung Health data.
This connection allows Strove to access your fitness activity data securely.
Step 3: Link Samsung Health to Health Connect
To ensure data can flow properly between your apps:
Open the Strove app → Settings → Connected Apps.
Tap Health Connect.
Tap App Permissions.
Tap Samsung Health.
Toggle Allow All to enable data sharing with Strove.
Once permissions are granted, data will sync automatically between your Galaxy Watch, Samsung Health, Health Connect, and Strove.
Sync tips & troubleshooting
If your activities aren’t syncing:
Open Health Connect and ensure permissions are turned on for both Samsung Health and Strove.
Manually open Samsung Health to trigger a data refresh.
Check that your Samsung Cloud account remains signed in and synced.
Allow a few minutes for data to transfer between apps — minor delays are normal.
Note: Manually added activities in Samsung Health will not sync to Strove. Only workouts recorded by your Galaxy Watch or another connected device will transfer.
Preventative tips
Keep Strove, Samsung Health, Galaxy Wearable, and Health Connect updated.
Don’t log out of your Samsung or Strove accounts between syncs.
Maintain a stable internet connection when recording or syncing activities.
Occasionally, open Samsung Health to ensure continuous syncing with Health Connect.
